As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods and materials. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team. Duties: - Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations - Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits - Collaborate with other departments to meet customer demands and resolve any issues or delays - Train and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to safety protocols - Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and shipments - Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to coordinate inbound and outbound logistics - Oversee the dispatching of goods for timely delivery - Implement lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in warehouse processes Experience: - Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role - Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes - Familiarity with budgeting and profit loss analysis - Proficiency in AS400 or other warehouse management systems (WMS) - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment - Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team - Experience in demand planning and forecasting is preferred Benefits: - Competitive salary based on experience - Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, etc. - Opportunities for career advancement within the company If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for optimizing warehouse operations, we would love to hear from you.
