Warehouse Coordinator

What We’re Searching for:
An experienced Warehouse Coordinator & Production Support to work at an Allentown, PA Packaging Services plant. This position will be responsible for controlling the process for minimizing loss by removing and isolating cases of damaged goods from general inventory and then carefully inspecting and sorting them according to salvage guidelines for either salvage sale, donation or destruction. Strong organizational, teamwork, and self-starter skills will lead you to success in this role.
Day in the life:
• Collection and isolation damaged product from the distribution and then inspecting, documenting and managing damaged product within the distribution center
• Inspecting, documenting, and managing damaged full pallets left in the recoup area.
• Sorting and updating in the system proper amount of (Good, Donation and/or Destruction) cases from full pallets.
• Report relevant information to customers QA
• Keep inventory for physical account of cases in all Recoup locations
• Put away inspected product that is deemed in good condition
• Keep work area clean and in proper condition
• Support production floor on daily assigned duties
• Organized, detailed, and able to perform physical activities.
• Experience with equipment operation and safety guidelines.
• Must be willing to work over-time and weekends when required
What it Takes:
• Must be able to repeatedly lift oversized sheets and boxes from chest to ground level up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to read and understand a tape measure (imperial units of measure) and basic math (including fractions).
• Must be able to wear protective equipment for extended periods of time including Gloves, Sleeves, safety glasses, goggles, steel-toed shoes, face masks, ear plugs.
• Must be able to work in a warehouse that is not climate-controlled for up to 12 hrs. per day.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed (up to 12 hours per day. Up to 6 days per week).
• Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, twist, and reach around equipment and obstacles unassisted as needed.
• 2+ years of Forklift experience
Basic Qualifications:
• Must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
• Must have an excellent attendance record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay: $20-$21/hour, Based on Experience
