Job Title: VAS (Value-Added Services) Operator
Position Summary
The VAS Operator supports warehouse operations by performing value-added services on apparel products to meet customer, retail, and brand requirements. This role is responsible for tasks such as labeling, ticketing, folding, bagging, kitting, repackaging, and light quality inspection. The VAS Operator ensures finished goods meet specifications while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform value-added services on apparel, including (but not limited to):
- Ticketing and labeling (price tickets, hang tags, UPCs, compliance labels)
- Folding, poly-bagging, and repackaging garments
- Kitting or bundling items per customer requirements
- Applying stickers, size labels, or promotional materials
- Follow detailed work instructions, customer specifications, and SOPs for each VAS project
- Inspect garments for visible defects, correct labeling, and proper presentation
- Ensure orders are completed accurately and on time to support outbound shipping schedules
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Track completed work and report quantities, shortages, or damages as required
- Use basic warehouse systems or scanners to confirm work completion
- Communicate issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly
- Support other warehouse functions (picking, packing, sorting, or staging) as needed during peak periods
- Adhere to all safety policies, quality standards, and productivity expectations
