Technical Sales Engineer (Industrial / HVAC Systems)

Position Overview
The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for managing and developing sales opportunities for engineered HVAC and thermal management solutions. This role combines technical expertise with consultative sales skills to deliver customized solutions that meet customer requirements while supporting business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and respond to incoming Requests for Quotation (RFQs) from assigned customers
Conduct discovery meetings and technical discussions to define project scope, requirements, and customer expectations
Identify customer decision-makers, buying processes, and evaluation criteria
Design technical solutions aligned with customer specifications and prepare manufacturing documentation
Develop and present technical and commercial proposals, including multiple solution options when applicable
Lead negotiations, clarify technical and commercial questions, and drive opportunities to closure
Coordinate prototype development to ensure alignment with customer expectations related to performance, timing, and quality
Maintain strong communication with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
Coordinate with Quality teams to resolve customer claims or concerns
Participate in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events as needed
Qualifications
Education
Experience
Proven experience in technical sales, application engineering, or a related role
5+ years of experience in a sales, engineering, or managerial capacity
Experience with pre-sales activities, including client presentations and technical demonstrations
Familiarity with business and sales platforms such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, SAP, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
