Graham Personnel Services is seeking a Technical Information Specialist for a manufacturing company in Greensboro, NC. Hours: M-F 8am-5pmTemp to hire opportunity$18/hr The Technical Information Specialist is responsible for assisting the technical and regulatory team with administrative and technical tasks. This position requires strict attention to detail, the ability to perform different operations simultaneously, and general knowledge of workplace protocol. As a technical information specialist, you will be required to perform basic administrative tasks including filing, composing emails, printing documents, scanning, answering phones, and creating reports. Essential Functions: • Assist Technical Documents Administrator and Technical Information Director with requests from customers and sales team with various document requests. • Assist in processing Technical Information Change Forms by running various reports from the Report Manager, Vicinity, and Business Central. Eventually assume primary responsibility for the Prescreening of the Technical Change Program. • Assist in research of changing requirements in the food industry in support of the documentation process used to supply information to our customers. Many specialty industries will require constant monitoring to provide them with the information they need to meet the regulatory requirements of their industry. • Assume primary responsibility for the BE Bio-Engineered Program. Initial training by our current staff leading to the primary responsibility that comes only with experience in processing data related to Bio Engineered Ingredients. • Maintain the Customer Banned listings for ingredients by researching CAS, FEMA, and Purity levels of new and alternate ingredients. • Assist in the “Supplier approval Program” supporting the Food Safety Specialist Qualifications and Experience Needed: • Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Experience • Understanding of company product codes and terminology • Knowledge of food science helpful • Must be 18 years of age to meet all workplace and food product safety regulations. • Must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalency. • Must successfully complete Food Safety and Workplace Safety training courses. • Must be able to work overtime as determined by management. • Regular attendance is required. • Must demonstrate the ability to communicate through written instruction and/or data entry. • Must have good mathematical abilities.
