Job Description

TEXTILE COMPOSITES FRAME OPERATOR:
Graham Personnel Services is servicing a textile company in the Greensboro area.
Requirements:

Must have manufacturing experience.
Working in a textile or nonwoven environment is a plus.
This position is the 2nd shift with possible overtime.
MUST HAVE a consistent work history.
Records greige roll information and yardage.
Loads greige rolls into let-off stand, seams together.
Communicates information to exit end.
Monitors quality of fabric.
Ensures that the frame is running according to the process and finish is always applied.
Load adhesive, purge tank and clean the head.

Job Duties:

Make sure all equipment (chain hoist, straps, etc.) is in good working order before starting
Loads rolls onto spindle.
Spice seams between rolls.
Load glue tank.
Assist lead associate during purge.
Dispose of used glue properly.
Records information on entry end run sheet and MESA.
Communicates yards and greige roll information to the exit end.
Threads up the fabric through the entry end and head.
Monitors process settings and ensures that the machine is running by process.
Monitors incoming greige quality.
Maintains a safe work area and follows established safety rules.
Performs housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work area.
Performs other duties as requested by immediate supervisor.
