 Position Title: Tote Supervisor      









Client is seeking a full-time, talented, team focused Tote Supervisor for its Paint Manufacturing plant to oversee and coordinate the daily operations related to totes, ensuring efficient and accurate handling, storage, and dispatch of totes, while also supervising and training staff to maintain operational standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision and Training:
    • Supervise and direct team to follow procedures and meet performance standards.
    • Train new staff on tote handling, storage, and dispatch procedures.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff, addressing questions and resolving issues.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Ensure totes are properly loaded, unloaded, and stored to maximize space and minimize damage.
    • Monitor tote inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely tote flow.
  • Accuracy and Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate records of tote movements and inventory.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.
    • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to tote handling.
  • Customer Service:
    • Address customer inquiries and concerns related to tote handling and delivery.
    • Ensure that totes are handled with care and that customer needs are met.
  • Safety:
    • Ensure a safe working environment for staff and maintain safety standards.
    • Follow proper accident procedures and report any incidents.
  • Other Duties:
    • May be required to assist with other tasks as needed, such as inventory management, receiving shipments or shipping totes.   
    • May be required to assist in cleaning and maintaining totes. 
 Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to train and supervise staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in logistics, warehouse operations or a similar field is often preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory management system is a plus.
