DESCRIPTION: Provides wirefeed structural welding support for the Facility. The job requires daily manufacturing responsibilities that are expected to be carried out with minimal supervision. Some job requirements are set in a team environment while others may be left to the individual to prioritize and schedule. A good working relationship is required with both office and factory employees.
Job responsibilities include:
 Experience welding structural steel members using (mig) wirefeed processes
 Ability to understand weld symbols and testing requirements
 Understand and follow proper safety instructions
 Ability to work in a team environment
 Experienced in 3f and 4f position welding
 Other duties may be added as needed by supervision
EDUCATION: This Position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED or related experience as a certified structural steel welder as determined by the plant manager.
Specific Welding Skills:
 Ability to pass a 3f and 4f weld test using GMAW process on 3/8“ material
 Good verbal communication skills with other employees
 Open minded with a vision for continuous improvement
 Ability to understand weld symbols and testing requirements
 Ability to read blueprints
