Sheet Metal Fabricator - Gorelock Elbows
The Sheet Metal worker is responsible for:- Fabricating and assembly of gorelock elbows.
- Preventative maintenance on operated equipment.
- Work may involve any of the following: grinding metal, use of spot welder, inspecting, etc.
Gorelock Elbow Maker Requirements:
• Operation of similar equipment 1 year.
• Operational knowledge of CNC cutting machines, press brakes, drills, and saws.
• Set up and operation of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for various sized elbows or branches.
• Able to run one machine in fabrication proficiently with little to no quality defects
• Ability to comprehend and read work orders.
• Use of hand-held grinder for shaping.
• Use of a spot welder.
• Clean and prep finished product for shipping.
• Ability to read a tape measure is required.
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to read basic blueprints.
• Ability to use, read, and understand general tools used in fabrication (tape measure, protract, calipers, etc.).
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop and reach at/or above shoulder level.
• Other job duties as assigned.
Employment Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Able to read and understand blueprints.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Able to read and comprehend the meaning of basic communication.
• Familiar with using calipers and other small hand tools, and measurements equipment.
• Read 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32” gradations on tape measure and take accurate measurements.
• Convert feet to inches and vice-versa.
• Convert fractions to decimals.

Schedule: 7am-3:30/4:30pm with mandatory overtime as needed, typical work week 46 hours
Pay: $18+/hour Based on experience
