Graham Personnel Services is assisting a client in Asheboro, NC fill a Senior Buyer role.
Perform daily purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics, and financial flows to suppliers.

Perform market analysis and define/coordinate appropriate sourcing strategy.
Negotiate best vendor terms, pricing, and delivery based on specifications and quality requirements.
Prepare/present detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc reviewed by the executive committee.
Identify and execute value-based cost savings projects that align with the company s strategic goals.
Evaluate/manage supplier relationships via scorecard performance for pricing, quality, delivery, sustainability, risk management, and continuous improvement efforts.
Monitor, identify, and mitigate risk in cooperation with the Supplier Quality & Development team.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education & Experience:
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four-year college degree, plus 5 years related experience and/or training, and 2 years related management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
