Job Title: Sectional Warper
Location: Burlington
Shift: 2nd 3PM-11PM
Pay: $15 per hour DOE
A Sectional Warper is responsible for operating and maintaining a sectional warping machine, which is used to prepare yarn for weaving. This involves loading yarn onto the machine, setting up the machine according to specifications, monitoring the warping process, and repairing any issues that may arise, such as broken yarn ends. The role also includes ensuring the quality of the wound yarn (the warp) and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Operating the sectional warping machine to wind yarn onto the drum and warp beam.
- Loading yarn onto the creel and drawing the yarn ends through the lease reed and flat reed
- Continuously monitoring the machine for defects, such as broken yarn ends and repairing them promptly.
- Ensuring the section width on the beam and drum is correct and that the pattern is correct before starting the machine.
- Generating tickets to identify the warp and maintaining records of the warping process.
- Seek continuous improvements allowing CT Nassau to continue to be a market leader.
- Be enthusiastic and be a positive, motivational team member.
- Maintain efficiency by optimizing machine settings and minimizing downtime.
Requirements:

- Physical ability to stand, walk and kneel on concrete floors, climb ladders, lift 10+ pound cones. Reach above head to stock creels, bend/stoop, and tie knots.
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to cotton and lint.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and write in English
- Adhere to all safety, quality and production policies and procedures.
