Position will be 6-8 months full time hours (can be flexible hours)
7am-3pm M-F
Key Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies within a distribution/manufacturing environment
Manage facility safety programs, contractor activities, and maintenance compliance requirements
Develop, create, and implement comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels
Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
Research, evaluate, and recommend best practices to drive continuous safety improvement
Promote strong employee engagement by actively fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and leadership to support safety initiatives
Maintain documentation, reports, and compliance records
(Preferred) Support food safety initiatives in alignment with FDA or similar regulatory standards
Qualifications
2–4 years of health and safety experience in a distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
OSHA 10 Certification required
Demonstrated experience with OSHA compliance and regulatory standards
Experience in facility and contractor management
Proven ability to develop and implement safety training programs
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on employee engagement
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
(Preferred) Experience with FDA regulations or food manufacturing safety standards
