We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety Coordinator to support workplace safety and compliance within a distribution/manufacturing environment. This role will focus on promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring OSHA compliance, and supporting day-to-day safety initiatives across the facility.
Job Details:
Pay: $25–$35/hour
Duration: 6–8 month contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
Develop and lead safety training programs for employees
Manage contractor activity and support facility safety programs
Promote employee engagement and awareness around workplace safety
Partner with operations, HR, and leadership teams to maintain a safe work environment
Identify and recommend improvements to enhance safety processes
(Preferred) Support food safety/FDA-related compliance initiatives
Qualifications:
2–4 years of safety experience in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environments
OSHA 10 certification required
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
(Preferred) Experience with FDA or food manufacturing safety standards
