Rigger 
Job Description Summary
The Rigger is responsible for safely moving machines and accessories in and out of the application area for work to be accomplished on new sold machines and demos to promote future sales.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
• Schedule delivery and pick up times with driver
• Take pictures of machines and accessories and download them into a folder on our storage drive
• Print sales orders to ensure the correct items ship with the machine
• Wrap machine for shipment
• Ensure load is correctly tarped and all appropriate paperwork is signed
• Work with traffic area to make sure all paperwork is correct and signed
• Prep machines for shipment outside the United States (sealed in bags/returned to skid with cage)
• Remove cage, unwrap machine, and remove from skid when required
• Place machine and accessories in the assigned location on skid or on leveling pads when required.
• Order supplies as required
• Provide machine weights, dimension and piece count to Traffic, Distributors, trucking companies
• Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices
• Performs other duties as assigned and explores opportunities to add value
Experience/Training/Education
• High school diploma
• 2-4 years’ experience with rigging or heavy equipment movement
• Forklift license
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
General:
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment
• Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
• Knowledge of rigging heavy equipment/cranes/skates preferred
Technical:
• Basic PC skills
Communication:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as exceptional listening skills
• Exceptional ability to speak and write effectively in a business environment
• Customer service focused
Math & Reasoning:
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and willingness to adapt to change and take initiative
Physical and Environmental Elements
Physical Demands:
• Ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms for at least 3/4 of the normal work shift
• Ability to lift and carry, push, or pull up to 60 pounds
• Ability to stoop, crouch and reach
• Ability to talk or hear continuously
• Ability to see clearly to do all work-related tasks (clear or corrected vision at 20 inches or less)
• Finger dexterity is required frequently for over 3/4 of the normal work shift including operating a phone, computer/ electronic equipment, and tools
Work Environment:
• The majority of the position’s functions are performed in the warehouse/ showroom. The employee works in an open warehouse area where temperatures may be subject to outdoor conditions in terms of cold and heat. There is exposure to various tools and equipment as well as forklift operations and corresponding noise levels
• A small portion of the position’s functions may be performed in the office environment with standard equipment and moderate noise levels (examples: computers, printers, fax, copiers, light traffic, and phone)
Special Requirements
• Maintain annual OSHA safety certifications as required by job duties
Schedule: 1st shift 
Pay: $20-$25/hour Based on experience
