Job Description
Administrative Receiving Coordinator *Potential Direct Hire Opportunity!* Summary: The Receiving & Customer Service Clerk is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of all incoming electronics and parts deliveries at the repair facility. They ensure that items are properly received, inspected, documented, and routed to the appropriate departments or technicians. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receiving Shipments (25%): o Unload and inspect incoming shipments for processing. o Verify incoming items against packing slips, purchase orders, or repair orders. o Accurately record received items in the inventory management system. o Label and tag items with appropriate identification information. o Route received items to the appropriate departments or technicians. Inventory Management: o Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records. o Identify and report any inventory discrepancies. o Ensure proper storage and organization of received items. Customer Service (75%): o Interact with customers and delivery personnel in a professional and courteous manner. o Answer inquiries about incoming shipments and repair status. o Assist in resolving any issues with received items. Other Duties: o Maintain a clean and organized receiving area. o Assist with shipping and outgoing deliveries as needed. o Perform other administrative or clerical tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Education and Experience: o High school diploma or equivalent. o Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment preferred. o Familiarity with electronics and repair processes a plus. Skills and Abilities: o Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. o Strong organizational and time management skills. o Ability to lift and move heavy items. o Basic computer skills and proficiency in inventory management software. o Effective communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Demands: • Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy items. • May be exposed to dust, noise, and other warehouse conditions. Work Environment: • Primarily works in a warehouse or repair facility environment. • Will often interact with customers and delivery personnel. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Pay: Starting at $20+/hour, Based on experience
