Quality Control Panel Test TechnicianHours: 1st shift 7a-4pPay: $20-$25/hour DOE As our Control Panel Quality Control Technician, you will be expected to work closely with our Quality Assurance (QA) Team Leader to ensure testing, documentation and recording of proper functions for custom control panels before shipment. You will inspect panels to ensure they do not have any defects and meet quality standards (NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, UL508A, ect…) . You will utilize the bill of materials to make sure the correct components are used in the panel and provide training or coaching to the Panel Fabrication/Assembly/Wiring/Engineering Departments as needed. The skills you need to succeed in this role will be to have an understanding of electrical component function (Wiring Schematics, Control Panel Wiring Diagrams, PLC I/O, VFDs, Control Relays, etc…), As well as, be comfortable working with up to ( 480VAC/230VAC/120VAC/24VAC - Less Than <50VDC to 24VDC) electricity. Must have previous experience making electrical connections for testing purposes. You will be using a variety of tools including digital multimeters and simulator devices (4-20mA/0-10VDC) . Maintain equipment and tools in a neat, clean, and efficient work area. Electrical experience or prior training education is required for this role.
