We are looking for a strong proven performer, that has the technical knowledge and strength in machine and assembly operations for wood and composite component parts. The candidate should have the capability to lead others in meeting our performance metrics for these work cells in the areas of safety, quality, delivery and cost.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the work cell team in machining and building of component parts (drawer fronts and doors) that supply our cabinet assembly process. · Manage and lead the day to day processes of the work cell while implementing process improvements which would improve the quality, output and delivery of product. Skills & Abilities:· Possess excellent team building behaviors and is a cross functional leader.· The ability to negotiate, influence and operate autonomously.· Must have strong analytical / problem-solving skills.· Proficient in MS-Office Suite, (Word and Excel).· Able to manage multiple projects and priorities.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.· Solid organizational and time management skills.· Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.· Results driven, able to focus on organizational performance.· Experience leading and engaging employees· High integrity and moral character.Education and Experience:· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology or Business preferred. An Associate’s degree in a technical discipline with strong manufacturing work experience will be considered. Extensive work experience may be considered in lieu of education.· Minimum of three years of manufacturing experience; wood related preferred. Supervision experience in a manufacturing environment is a must
