Graham Personnel has an immediate need for a Production Supervisor for a manufacturing client in Hannibal, MO. Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising the team on the designated shift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.• Supervise the shift of all employees and temporary employees.• Ensure that staff are held accountable for job performance and violations of PPG policy.• Ensure staff is practicing safe work habits and complying with PPG safety policies.• Ensure Quality standards are being maintained by shift workers.• Ensure Productivity standards are being maintained. • Report to Production Manager any infractions that occur while on their shift.• Ensure training is current in safety procedures for self and shift workers.• Ensure proper training is taking place for new employees and temporary employees.• Ensure Shift Lead is trained to operate required equipment.• Ensure Quality standards are understood and applied.• Ensure proper training is up to date if required to do maintenance, calibrations, oiling, etc. Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience:• BS degree and manufacturing experience.• Technical background in manufacturing, a plus.• Quality and Safety demonstrated knowledge, a plus.• Demonstrated leadership, along with strong inter-personal communications skills required. Leadership Ability:• Ability to encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.• Ability to take on responsibilities and challenges.• Ability to be sensitive to others’ needs and feelings and being understanding and helpful on the job. Computer Skills:• Ability and knowledge of Microsoft office applications for the position.
