Graham Personnel Services is assisting a client in Greensboro fill a Production Manager position on a direct hire basis.

Overview:
The Production Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the plant to produce quality products efficiently, on time, and within the company s economic framework.
Responsibilities:
Coach and develop employee performance through training, reviews, and discipline
Provide positive leadership and direction to all employees within Production departments.
Prepare and maintain production reports and process documentation and/or process programs.
Assumes leadership and responsibility for a variety of development-related projects.
Work in conjunction with the Quality department to improve process & quality control
Assist in implementing LEAN concepts and continuous improvement
Work toward the elimination of scrap by properly evaluating the causes.
Identify and develop continuous improvements in the process, equipment, staffing, and raw materials.
Maintain continuous dialogue and communication with the Operations Director to keep them informed on the status of safety, quality, production, schedules, workloads, problems and opportunities available to maximize efficient operation.
Maintain compliance within company policies, quality specifications, safety standards and good housekeeping practices
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will be operationally savvy, detail-oriented, and possess prior manufacturing experience, with expertise in offering superior levels of customer service.
7+ years of management and manufacturing experience.
BA/BS degree preferred, in Industrial Management, Engineering or Business
High School Diploma / GED
Ability to direct others
Strong problem-solving, leadership and multitasking abilities
The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
Excellent customer service, organizational, public speaking, and written/verbal communication skills
Customer friendly, energetic, and highly organized
Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, email and internet software
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
