Production Line Lead
*Direct Hire Opportunity!*

Job Summary:

This role is actively involved in production tasks while leading a team of Production Operators and Sewers (straight-line overlock machines). The Line Lead reports to the Production Supervisor and plays a key role in ensuring efficiency, quality, and workflow consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work alongside team members in a hands-on capacity to meet production goals, quality standards, and efficiency targets.

· Oversee daily operations of an assigned production line consisting of 6–7 Production Operators and 6–7 Sewers.

· Monitor workflow, equipment operation, and staffing levels, making real-time adjustments as needed.

· Assist in training and mentoring team members to ensure adherence to quality and efficiency standards.

· Troubleshoot minor equipment and production issues and escalate concerns to the Production Supervisor as needed.

· Ensure safety protocols and quality control procedures are followed throughout production.

· Maintain production logs and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Experience: 2+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a lead or coordinator role.

· Hands-On Leadership: Ability to actively work alongside team members while providing guidance and support.

· Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with sewing operations, production workflows, and quality control processes preferred.

· Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive, hands-on approach to addressing challenges.

· Communication: Ability to give clear instructions, motivate a team, and relay information to supervisors.

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
Shift: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $18-$20/hour, Based on Experience
