Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Pressroom Machine Operator to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses, ensuring high-quality output, and adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities:
Operate printing presses according to job specifications and production schedules. Monitor machine operation to detect and resolve issues promptly. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to ensure optimal performance. Adjust machine settings to achieve desired print quality and production targets. Inspect printed materials for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards. Troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform minor repairs as needed. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Maintain accurate production records and reports. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience operating printing presses or similar machinery preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation. Physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50lbs. Schedule: 2nd shift 3:30pm-1:50am Monday-Thursday Pay: $16-$18/hour Based on experience *With flexibility based on experience*
