Printing Press/Binding Operator Job Description Graham Personnel is working with one of the fastest growing Packaging and Commercial Print based organizations in Wide Format, Flexo Labels, and Direct Mail and Marketing in the Southeast. They are a World Class Manufacturing organization that provides full strategic solutions for National Brand Conscience organizations. We are looking for experienced individuals who are highly passionate and motivated about the industry, who are looking to advance their career. The successful candidate will be part of a crew who will help drive quality and run performance. We are looking for a candidate who is looking to develop their skills as a leader/trainer in the bindery department while still being able to communicate, train, read and follow work instructions/SOP’s. They must be detail-oriented, quality and safety focused. Position Summary • Prior experience as a Bindery Operator, Printing Press Operator, or trainee, or in a similar position • Experience with Guillotine cutter and Saddle Stitcher preferred • Run various machinery and bindery equipment (Speedo, MBO’s, cutting, folding, stitching, binding machines, etc.) • Train/learn on a variety of other misc. equipment• Set up, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on equipment• Conduct quality control checks on finished products • Must have the ability to write and read simple instructions and effectively present information to others. • Must have the ability to read and interpret documented operating and maintenance instructions. • Must have basic computer skills. • Must have proficient skills in the use of hand tools. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D Schedule: 1st shift 6am-3:30pm Monday-Friday Pay: $16-$18/hour *With flexibility based on experience*
