Pre-Assembly Technician
Location: Winston-Salem/Kernersville area
Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay: $17.50 per hour
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pre-Assembly Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing complex assembly work, reading blueprints, using precision measurement equipment, and supporting production goals in a safe and organized manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex and advanced assembly of products according to established specifications and work instructions.
- Read and interpret blueprints to pre-assemble products accurately and efficiently.
- Assemble various types of stators and rotors according to work orders.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or substandard conditions to the line lead or supervisor.
- Use precision measurement equipment to ensure product quality and accuracy.
- Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and materials used during the assembly process.
- Operate a pallet jack as needed to move materials or products.
- Follow all required PPE, ESD, safety, and quality protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area following 6S standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to stand on concrete for the entire shift.
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and walk throughout the production floor.
- Ability to pick up and move products as needed.
- Ability to lift 10 lbs. to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Flexibility to work overtime as requested.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stay focused and productive throughout the full shift.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
