Job Description

Power BI AnalystOur client in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Power BI Analyst for a 4-6 month contract to design, develop, and implement Power BI dashboards and optimize data models. This role will focus on transforming raw data into meaningful visualizations, ensuring data accuracy, and providing insights for business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports based on business needs.
  • Connect, clean, and structure data from multiple sources to ensure efficient reporting.
  • Optimize data models and create DAX calculations for performance improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and governance best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, queries, and performance.
  • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience working with Power BI and data visualization tools.
  • Strong experience with DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
  • Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and working with relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Azure, Excel, and other BI-related tools (a plus).
  • Ability to analyze complex data and deliver actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
