Job Description

Graham Personnel Services is seeking a Payroll Administrator for a company in Greensboro.
Temp to hire opportunity1st shiftPay rate: $18/hr
General Description: The Payroll Administrator will process weekly, semi-monthly, and bonus payroll and maintain employee time records.
  1. Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system. (PAYCHEX FLEX) Information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave, and holidays, deductions and withholdings, address changes and other information.
  2. Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, contributions, and other deductions.
  3. Reconciles payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements.
  4. Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.
  5. Records and processes federal and state payroll tax deposits.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Experience Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Two years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping with at least 6 months of payroll preferred.
