Job Title: Packer/Machine Operator 3
Location: Stokesdale
Shift: 2-2-3 Schedule
Days 6:45AM to 7:00PM
Nights 6:45PM to 7:00AM
Pay: $16/hour
Job Purpose: The machine operator is responsible for performing various tasks to setup, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines.
Responsibilites:
- Executing standard operating procedures related to the inspection of product and materials.
- Monitor machine operations to ensures products manufactured meet industry and federal standards.
- Responsible for managing line performance. Serves as point of contact for line on shift.
- Responsible for SAP transactions.
- Give work direction to Operators on the line.
- Advanced troubleshooting capabilities.
- Advanced preventive maintenance capabilities.
- Performs minor maintenance.
- Responsible for training and serves as a mentor to Operators.
- Complete quality paperwork for product inspections and entry into QIS system.
- Ensure the machine is operating according to capability.
- Knowledge of production procedures and specifications.
- Perform periodic checks on the equipment and solve problems as detected.
- Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.
- Perform advanced changeover duities.
- Observe and follow all company safety rules and regulations.
- Trains others and serves as a resources to Operators.
