Picker Packer2,2,3 schedule7pm-7am As a Picker Packer, your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items from inventory, pack them securely, and prepare orders for shipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a well-organized and efficient warehouse are essential for the success of this role. Key Responsibilities:Picking:
Order Retrieval: Accurately pick items from shelves, bins, or designated areas based on order sheets or electronic picking systems.
Quality Assurance: Inspect items for damage or defects and verify that the correct items and quantities have been picked.
Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels, report discrepancies, and ensure that stock is organized and easily accessible.
Packing:
Packaging: Carefully and securely pack items into boxes or containers to prevent damage during transit.
Labeling: Apply shipping labels and ensure that all necessary documentation is included in the shipment.
Order Assembly: Assemble, organize, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring they are complete and accurate.
Warehouse Maintenance:
Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking packing materials and keeping workspaces clear of debris.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Picker Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work efficiently and meet productivity goals.
Basic computer skills to operate electronic picking systems (if applicable).
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift items, sometimes in excess of 50 pounds.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new warehouse processes and technologies.
