Job Description

Onsite Recruiter/Coordinator (Bilingual) 
Reports to:  Operations Manager

Status: Regular Full time

Schedule: Night shift

Pay Rate: Non-exempt/hourly + commission

 
 Job Summary: Under minimal supervision and with reasonable accommodation if required, the Onsite Recruiter/Coordinator is responsible for working at our client's location in Rural Hall, NC and ensures the best possible and safest provision of temporary employee and related services.  Maintains adherence at all times with safety, GPS/client policies, and legal compliance requirements.  Duties:
  1. Ensure the safety and well-being of all temporary employees including safety training/audits, issuance of PPE, and OSHA compliance
  2. Recruit, source and identify qualified temporary employees to create a candidate pipeline to meet current and future client staffing needs.
  3. Conduct new employee training, orientation and maintain training records (matrix)
  4. Ensure positive morale and strong employee relations and investigate issues/incidents as required.
  5. Comply with all GPS and employment law requirements for hiring and onboarding temporary staff
  6. Manage employee discipline and provide coaching/counseling as necessary
  7. Building relationships with client managers, supervisors, and staff to gain knowledge of their business model and manage staffing levels.
  8. Supervise check-in and onboarding of new temporary employees, including orientation, training, timekeeping requirements, and provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  9. Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on employees/applicants using Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  10. Support GPS Human Resources and benefit programs as required (ACA compliance, WOTC certification)
  11. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to advise client on aspects of temporary staffing and additional areas for partnership/synergy.
  12. Put together KPI and attendance reports and monitor temporary employees for safety/PPE compliance.
  13. Run timeclock reports and  coordinate with payroll,  to ensure accuracy of weekly invoices
  14. Perform other duties as required or directed by GPS or client management.
Skills:
  1. Demonstrated ability to source, recruit and motivate a diverse workforce
  2. Bilingual (English/Spanish) 
  3. Ability to utilize performance metrics, goals and assist with evaluating employee performance 
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  5. Good written communication skills and ability to document occurrences and write reports 
  6. Proficiency in utilizing MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Applicant Tracking software (ATS), such as TempWorks, Avionte, Bullhorn, etc.
  7. Ability to work efficiently and manage time 
  8. Professional appearance and demeanor
Requirements:
  1. Associates degree and 2+ years’ recruiting or supervisory experience in a manufacturing, warehousing or staffing environment; or H.S. Diploma and 5 years’ experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish)
  3. Ability to pass stringent background and drug screen requirements.
  Physical Demands/Work Environment:
  1. While performing the duties of this job employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear and frequently required to feel, touch and keyboard.
  2. Work will be performed in a manufacturing environment
