Safety Coordinator (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Greensboro, NC
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Pay Rate: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to support workplace safety initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing company focused on EV charging technology. The ideal candidate will have OSHA certification and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures
- Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards
- Assist with safety training and onboarding for employees
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions
- Promote a culture of safety across the facility
Qualifications:
- OSHA certification required
- Previous experience in a safety-related role (manufacturing preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
- Comfortable working in a production environment
- Ability to perform light lifting as needed
