A well-established Ophthalmology doctor’s office in Greensboro, NC is seeking a dependable and organized Office Manager to oversee daily front-office and administrative operations. You will play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly and ensuring a positive experience for every patient.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations and front-desk activities
- Supervise and support front-office and administrative staff
- Oversee patient scheduling, check-in/check-out, and phone communications
- Handle insurance verification, billing coordination, and claims follow-up
- Address patient questions, concerns, and service recovery as needed
- Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Order office supplies and manage vendor relationships
- Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding office staff
- Monitor workflows to improve efficiency and patient flow
- Provide administrative support to the doctor and clinical team
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an office manager or lead administrative professional
- Experience in a medical, optometry, or ophthalmology office preferred
- Knowledge of medical billing, insurance verification, and scheduling systems
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a small office setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems and basic office software
