Graham Personnel Services is seeking a highly organized Accounting Specialist to oversee daily accounting functions and support overall office operations. This role is responsible for financial reporting, bookkeeping, and ensuring the office runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all core accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Record daily journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with budget preparation and monthly financial reporting
- Process payroll and support employee benefits and insurance administration
- Maintain organized and accurate records, both financial and administrative
- Oversee general office operations such as filing, correspondence, and supply management
- Review records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
- Identify and implement improvements to office processes and workflow
- Prepare reports for management as needed
- May assist with training or supervising administrative staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business (required)
- 2+ years of experience in accounting and/or office administration
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Effective communication skills
