Job Summary Seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join a manufacturing team producing high-quality metal components. This role is responsible for welding, fitting, and fabricating metal parts according to prints and specifications while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
Set up welding equipment, select proper materials, and adjust machine settings as needed
Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance; perform minor rework when required
Use grinders, torches, clamps, and measuring tools to prepare and finish parts
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
Qualifications
2+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Experience welding structural, sheet metal, or fabricated components
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Welding certifications are a plus but not required
Work Environment
Manufacturing/fabrication shop environment
Exposure to welding fumes, sparks, and heat (PPE provided)
