Job Title: Metal Fabricator
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator to join the team of a local manufacturer. The Metal Fabricator will be responsible for producing high-quality metal product used in various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in metalworking techniques, precision machining, and various fabrication processes.
Responsibilities:
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate product according to design requirements.
Set up and operate metalworking machinery and equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, and welding machines, to fabricate various components.
Cut, shape, and form metal materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, using appropriate tools and techniques.
Perform precision measurements and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of fabricated clamp components.
Weld, solder, or fasten clamp components together using various joining methods, ensuring structural integrity and durability.
Conduct post-fabrication finishing processes, such as deburring, grinding, and polishing, to achieve desired surface finishes and tolerances.
Collaborate with other teams to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize clamp designs for performance and efficiency.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in metal fabrication or welding preferred.
Proven experience as a metal fabricator with a focus on fabricating clamps or similar metal components.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Strong knowledge of metalworking techniques, including cutting, shaping, bending, and welding.Ability to take precise measurements. Basic math skills.
Experience with metalworking machinery and equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and welding machines.
Excellent attention to detail and precision in fabrication and assembly processes.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Schedule: 1st shift 7am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday
Pay: $18-$20/hour Based on experience
