Job Description
A local company in the Browns Summit Area is hiring Manufacturing Technician to assist in making Heat Shrinkable Films for Packaging & Labeling Applications. Future employee will be assisting in using the shrink film slitting machine and inspecting quality of product. Looking for a candidate willing to work day and night shifts.
Pay Rate:
$17/hour
Shift details:
Rotating schedule
- 7 am to 7 pm one month and 7pm to 7am the next.
- 2, 2, 3 weekly schedule
Responsibilities and Duties:
Manufacturing Technicians
- Associates will be lifting and manipulating roles of shrink film onto the slitting machines.
- Discarding scrap film into recycle bins.
- Helping to load and unload shipments of film.
- Cleaning up scrap film around the slitting machines.
- Assisting machine operators in keeping various machinery running properly.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 1 year of Manufacturing experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs.
Additional Information
- Steel toed boots are required .
