Job Description

The Maintenance Technician performs preventative, planned, and unplanned maintenance and service on equipment to support production of plumbing equipment.
• Supports continuous improvement by participating in events and submitting opportunities for improvements
• Working as a team or individual, perform maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Read, analyze, and interpret schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders• Makes safety the number one priority by leading by example, addressing unsafe conditions & behaviors, and supporting safety improvement initiatives
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area following 5S standards
• Respond quickly to service call; interact with colleagues in a professional manner
• Use computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document work and order parts
• Performs other related duties as needed and assigned
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, A/C (including troubleshooting and repair), and Allen Bradley PLC ladder logic
