Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance TechnicianHours:
  • 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Pay:
  • $22 - $28 per hour, based on experience.

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our industrial machinery runs at peak efficiency, helping us maintain smooth and reliable operations. You’ll report to the Maintenance Engineer and/or Maintenance Manager, who will guide and assign tasks to ensure timely and efficient maintenance across the facility.What You’ll Do:
  • Perform reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to ensure all equipment is running smoothly.
  • Conduct regular inspections and perform maintenance on industrial machinery to keep everything operating at top performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns with precision.
  • Carry out repairs, including replacing worn parts, adjusting settings, and aligning components to keep systems up to spec.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
  • Assist with minor facility maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards by performing building inspections.
  • Manage contractors and vendors for specialized repair or maintenance tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a production environment.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools, and a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, resistance welding, and cooling systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with high-speed automated machinery and 3-phase electrical systems. Ability to diagnose and repair PLC faults.
  • Blueprint and Manual Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, manuals, and 3D drawings.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and IoT devices in manufacturing settings.

  • Time Management: Ability to manage time efficiently and juggle multiple tasks at once.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Additional Requirements:
  • A commitment to workplace safety, adhering to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Flexibility to work in various environments, both indoors and outdoors, with the physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Leadership skills to assist in emergency response and oversee contractors on-site.
  • Willingness to participate in energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of outdoor work.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including reflective wear, safety goggles, and gloves.
