Overview: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a local manufacturing team in Greensboro, NC. This hands-on role is vital to ensuring the efficient operation of production and equipment. The Maintenance Technician will focus on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment while collaborating with team members to minimize downtime and enhance production processes.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and building equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications. Address electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic system issues. Support basic troubleshooting of PLC systems and motors. Collaborate with production supervisors, engineers, and other team members to resolve issues efficiently. Communicate with external contractors and vendors for technical support when needed. Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or AAS degree in a related field is a plus. 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic knowledge of PLC systems, motors, and controls. Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. Hours: 6am-2:30pm Pay: $27+/hour, Based on Experience
