Maintenance Technician – 1st and 2nd Shift Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team at our fast-paced, high-volume distribution center. This role is critical in ensuring the facility operates efficiently by performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs on automated systems, conveyors, robotics, and other warehouse equipment.Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on warehouse equipment.
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on conveyors, sortation systems, robotics, and automated machinery.
Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and PLC programs for troubleshooting purposes.
Work with robotic systems (if applicable) to ensure proper operation and troubleshoot errors.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and facility safety protocols, identifying and addressing safety hazards proactively.
Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track maintenance activities and repairs.
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to implement process improvements.
Maintain an organized and well-stocked maintenance workspace.
Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing and coordinating with outside service providers for repairs, equipment sourcing, and maintenance support.
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and vendors to ensure smooth facility operations.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a high-volume distribution or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including motors, relays, sensors, and control systems.
Experience working with conveyors, automated material handling systems, or robotics is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is preferred.
Familiarity with lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc flash safety, and OSHA regulations.
OSHA/Safety background is a major plus.
Experience managing vendor relationships for equipment maintenance, repairs, and parts procurement.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams and with external vendors.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
