Maintenance Technician - Day Shift -Direct Hire - Thomasville
Maintenance Technician, Direct HireDay shift M-F 8-5 up to $33 BOE Primary Tasks and Responsibilities, Maintenance and Electrical Technician must be able to:
Maintains the production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities and grounds
Performs varied maintenance duties to include work orders and preventive maintenance to meet established maintenance and operations objectives.
Organizes work for smooth, efficient operations. Accurately tracks all time and materials used to perform work orders and other repairs using both manual and electronic means.
Troubleshoots equipment problems and performs necessary repairs. Coordinates with the Maintenance Manager before modifying any plant equipment.
Responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the machine is consistent with the policies and procedures which make up the Quality System.
Continuously improve the process as an individual and as a team member
Ensures work area is kept clean
Ensures all environmental standards and requirements are met
Provides support to production operator and crew members
Drives continuous improvement
Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.
Familiarity with electrical drives, PLC’s, reading electrical prints, machine controls.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience (3-5 in a supervisory role) in a packaging manufacturing
Experience with extrusion, flexo printing, and bag converting preferred
Experience with MVP Plant or other computer-based PM program
