Machine and Process Converter

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Demonstrate company Core Values:  Safety, Respect, Ownership
•    Define converting equipment processes.
•    Develop process standards and control the documentation associated with all converting processes.
•    Resolve process issues and improve reliability through modifications as needed.
•    Validate equipment and material processing for all changes or new equipment.
•    Verify quality standard compliance on all process changes to equipment and material.
•    Design and develop packaging specifications.
•    Manage all aspects of trial process for equipment and material change to include test reports to qualify or disqualify proposed change through statistical process analysis.
•    Resolve manufacturing problems created by process issues.
•    Lead project initiatives as assigned.
•    Aid in training of operation team members for process management.
•    General project work as assigned.
•    Miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

•    High school diploma or equivalent required.
•    Computer and statistical skills preferred as applicable to quality control inspection in the manufacturing field.
•    An analytical background and the ability to use and understand statistics software, word, excel and power point are required.

•    Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
•    Must be able to read and interpret work documents
•    Must have the ability to work in teams
•    Must have the ability to perform basic math
•    Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes
•    Willingness and desire to lead continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization, with a positive and motivating environment.
•    Knowledge of products, raw materials, machine processes, test procedures and customer needs.
•    Ability to set priorities and perform duties without supervision.

Training Requirements:
•    General Safety
•    Quality Systems
•    New Hire Orientation
•    Position-specific Basic Training*Training will be required (for up to 3 weeks) at company HQ located outside of the U.S., must be okay with travel and have valid passport for international travel*

Personal Protective Equipment Requirements:
•    Hearing protection must be worn while on the production floor.

Work Environment:

•    Work is performed in an office setting within an industrial environment.
Schedule and Shift Available: 2-2-3 Schedule
Day Shift: 7am-7pm
Pay: 55k-65k/year
