Skilled Machine Operator
*Direct Hire Opportunity!*
Schedule: 6:45am-7pm on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule (no shift changes required)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join a local manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of machine operating experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires operating production lines efficiently to ensure high-quality output and achievement of KPI targets.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor production line, ensuring consistent product quality and timely completion of tasks.
Maintain a strong focus on safety and accident prevention on the production floor.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and alignment issues, making necessary adjustments.
Conduct routine maintenance and assist with changeovers.
Collaborate with Process Technicians, Line Leads, Process Engineers, and Maintenance Technicians to resolve issues and optimize processes.
Communicate technical issues and improvement ideas to the Team Leader.
Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Requirements:

Experience: 3-5 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in a Machine Operating, Industrial Maintenance, or similar role.
Leadership: Previous experience in leadership roles preferred (e.g., Team Lead, Lead Machine Operator, Line Lead).
Technical Skills:
Proficient in operating automation machines and troubleshooting issues.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (OEE, SMED, waste reduction).
Strong mechanical aptitude, able to use small hand tools, take precise measurements, and read machine gauges/pressures.
Experience with changeovers and preventive maintenance.
Familiarity with GMP standards is a plus.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
Computer Skills: Comfortable working with computer screens and entering/adjusting numerical data.

Active listening and attention to detail.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Proficient in measurements (millimeters) and technical troubleshooting.
Pay: $24/hour
