Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Burlington, NC
Shift: 3rd Mon-Fri 11PM-7AM
Pay: $15 Depending on experience
Job Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining textile production machinery to ensure efficient production, quality standards, and workplace safety are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate textile machinery such as looms, knitting, weaving, dyeing, or finishing machines
Set up machines according to production specifications and work orders
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality
Inspect finished fabric for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment
Accurately document production counts, downtime, and material usage
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Identify and report mechanical issues or quality concerns promptly
Qualifications:
Previous machine operating experience preferred (textile experience a plus)
Ability to read work orders and follow instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
