Job Description

Graham Personnel Services is assisting a client in Statesville North Carolina fill a machine operator opening.
2nd shift 3p-11p$18.50 an hour
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Operate production machinery in accordance with specifications.
• Assist in operating, maintaining, and repairing production machines to ensure proper functioning.
• Review and adapt to the daily production schedule as necessary.
• Conduct periodic checks on equipment and troubleshoot problems.
• Be willing to work adjusted schedules to meet company needs.
• Ensure the delivery of quality products to customers.
• Adhere to company safety rules and regulations, including PPE and Forklift restrictions.
• Follow all company policies and guidelines.
• Handle material handling tasks as needed in the absence of a forklift driver.
• Support the training of new employees.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced, including rejected or discarded pieces.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or management team
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with handheld tools.
• Experience with automated machinery is advantageous.
• Experience in fast-paced production environments.
• Thorough understanding of production equipment or the ability to quickly learn.
• Ability to follow directions, collaborate well in a team, and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
