Logistics Coordinator
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily flow of shipments, coordinating with carriers and suppliers, and ensuring products are delivered on time and in excellent condition. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve delivery issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents and records.
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile shipping/receiving data.
- Negotiate freight rates and schedule shipments cost-effectively.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Provide regular updates and reports on logistics performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and logistics or ERP software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and documentation is a plus.
