Logistics Operator
Graham Personnel Services is seeking highly motivated and experienced Logistic Operators to join the team. The Logistic Operator will play a crucial role daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. The ideal candidate will be able to operate various material handling equipment, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a positive working environment. *This is a direct hire opportunity!
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Loading/unloading, material handling using forklift, clamp truck, etc. Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. Conduct regular inventory checks and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory levels. Working with shipping/receiving, handling materials, storing, picking, etc.
Order Fulfillment: Ensure accurate and timely order picking, packing, loading/unloading, and shipping. Coordinate with shipping/receiving carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries. Resolve order discrepancies and address customer inquiries.
Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with warehouse regulations. Help to provide a safe working environment, adhering to health, safety, and environmental procedures. Ensure a clean and tidy working environment.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements. Help implement best practices to enhance warehouse operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.
Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of warehouse equipment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in warehouse and logistic operations.
Knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
Experience with scanning and basic computer skills.
Experience operating material handling equipment.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
Proficient in using warehouse management systems.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Schedule: 2-2-3 schedule, 6pm-6am
Pay: $19-$21+/hour Based on experience
