Job Title: Kitchen Prep Associate
Shift: First Shift- start at 5am - Long hours with no set end time; flexibility required
Pay: $18/hour
Position Overview:
We are currently hiring two reliable and hardworking Kitchen Prep Associates to join our team. This role is essential to daily kitchen operations and involves a wide range of food preparation tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cut vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
- Assist in making stocks and other base recipes
- Shred cheese and complete various prep tasks as needed
- Follow recipes accurately and consistently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas
- Handle heavy lifting and work on your feet for extended periods
Requirements:
- Ability to tolerate strong food smells (including onions and raw ingredients)
- Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and follow recipes
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
