Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, clean, and organized working environment by performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks in production areas, office spaces, restrooms, and common areas.Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize production floors, offices, restrooms, hallways, and other common areas on a scheduled basis.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all designated areas to maintain cleanliness.
Empty trash cans and dispose of waste in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines.
Clean windows, walls, doors, and other surfaces as needed.
Ensure that all restrooms are properly stocked with necessary supplies and are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
Assist in setting up and organizing work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
Report maintenance issues such as leaks, equipment malfunctions, or damage to the facility to the supervisor or maintenance team.
Ensure proper storage and handling of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning agents and equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized janitorial closet, ensuring that all supplies are stocked and readily available.
Support other cleaning or facility maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Previous janitorial or cleaning experience in a commercial or industrial setting is preferred.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks such as bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.
Ability to work safely around equipment and in manufacturing environments.
