Inside Customer Technical Support (Electrical/Mechanical)
Our manufacturing client in Randolph County is expanding and has a Direct Hire career opportunity for a Customer Technical Support Rep experienced in customer electrical and mechanical product support. MUST have experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming. Join their friendly family feel team in a collaborative culture and a positive fostered work environment.Summary: This is an inside role taking incoming customer calls and provide technical support to resolve customers product issues including vehicle operation, maintenance, repair, and PLC troubleshooting. Will follow up timely with customers and expediently schedule and dispatch Field Service Technicians for customer vehicle product repairs and maintenance. Accurately process warranty orders, track customer (RMA’s) and work with suppliers for warranty reimbursement. Responsibilities • Communicate effectively with customers and deliver excellence in customer support on all technical issues mechanical or electrical • Resolve and troubleshoot all issues within designated time frame daily • Actively listen and understand customer current needs vehicle and equipment by active suggestions and recommendations for timely resolution • Record all necessary documentation of customer communications, maintain time sheets and service call logs. • Address complaints, provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner, and follow-up to ensure resolution. • Schedule and dispatch Field Service Technicians for customer on-site repairs, start-ups, & maintenance. While working cross functionally with teams to ensure proper customer service is being delivered. • Propose preventative maintenance contracts to customers. Process warranty orders, track customer RMA’s) and work with suppliers for warranty reimbursement. • Sustain financial accounts, process credits/customer • Keep organized and continuously provide friendly and expedient service to customers. Consistently adapt to different types of customers and their needs with a positive friendly demeanor. Ability to travel to customer sites occasionally as needed.Requirements:
Experienced with customer service experience from a technical aspect on the electrical side including working with PLC, Control voltage wiring, VFD’s, and High voltage (480V,575V)
Strong knowledge of industrial equipment (Conveyors, Blowers, Ductwork, Box Dumpers, etc.) and ability to use electrical test equipment.
Must be able to read and understand Electrical Schematics, navigate, read, revise and upload and install PLC programs
Knowledge of Hydraulics and control voltage troubleshooting skills.
Experienced with customer service from a mechanical technical view.
Knowledge of industrial equipment, hydraulics, mechanical troubleshooting
