Industrial Maintenance Tech - Day Shift - High Point
Job description Industrial Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Technicians-DIRECT HIRE! Maintenance Manager Notes: "We just got an opening available for 1st shift. We are looking for someone with mechanical and electrical experience. They must have a strong mechanical background and at a minimum understand basic electrical wiring and can make minor changes to PLC programs. We are looking in the $28-$30 range. This person must be professional with a great attitude towards continuous improvement."
Duties:
Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance. Experienced with both mechanical and electrical
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
L/O and T/O experience
Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Industrial Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Technicians Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment
Experienced within manufacturing/distribution
In-depth knowledge of system maintenance
Experience with 480 V and PLC's; AC/DC
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
Skilled in analyzing information and creating reports
Associates Degree, Technical skilled trades training or relative years of experience
