Job Description

Graham Personnel Services is seeking an R&D Technician for a growing client in Stokesdale.



Working Conditions / Contract Details:

  1. Temporary contract: 6 months (November 2025 – April 2026).
  2. Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  3. Onsite role at Stokesdale facility.
  4. Contractor must comply with site safety, confidentiality, and data protection policies.


The R & D Tech will support the North America R&D team in the execution of raw material validation activities for Baby Care products (Open Diaper and Pants). The role focuses on performing production trials and laboratory testing, collecting, organizing, and analyzing technical data, and ensuring accurate documentation in alignment with internal standards and validation procedures. 


This temporary position provides hands-on exposure to product development, manufacturing processes, and cross-functional collaboration with Industrialization, Quality, Operations and Procurement teams.
 
 
Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks
 
  • Support R&D developers during feasibility, OQ, and PAT validation stages for new or alternative raw materials.
  • Supports receiving and checking new R&D raw material, including documentation.

  1. Perform raw materials lab testing, collect samples, and record data using internal templates.
  2. Ensure test results are accurately reported and uploaded to SharePoint and internal databases.
  3. Participate in production trials collecting samples, deliver samples to the lab and data tracking.
  4. Communicate progress and technical findings with cross-functional teams.
  5. Maintain trials materials and retention samples storing organized and labeled properly keeping the records and traceability data.
  6. Follow all safety and quality procedures in laboratory and production areas.
 

Job Requirements
 
Educational :
  1. Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Good knowledge of MS Office.
 
Experience (preferred) :
  1. 1+ years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or R&D environment (preferred).
  2. Experience in hygienic product development is an advantage
  3. Knowledge of physical testing methods and data recording.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with SAP and Statistics knowledge/Minitab is a plus.
  5. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  6. Team-oriented, organized, and proactive communicator, openness to cooperate within the entire org
